When can I start using Twyn?
Join the waitlist with your name and email. We’ll let you know when your place is ready. Joining is free and doesn’t create an account or start a subscription.
Is a Twyn another AI assistant?
No. A Twyn is a task identity for an assistant you choose: a separate inbox, optional voicemail number, controlled payment access, and a record of what happened. Your assistant does the work; Twyn controls what it can access.
What does my AI actually get access to?
Only the task, inbox, permitted voicemail transcripts, actions, and recipients you allow for that Twyn, until the permission expires. Payments have their own merchant and amount limits. Anything outside those rules needs a separate approval in Twyn. Your personal inbox isn't part of that access.
How do payments work?
You set a task limit, a per-payment limit, an allowed merchant, and an expiry. Twyn uses a connected payment provider; it doesn't hold a wallet balance. Your assistant never receives your card details. Requests above a limit are blocked, and payment approvals show the exact amount and merchant. Any provider fees appear before you approve.
Can my Twyn receive phone calls?
An optional dedicated number receives voicemail, with a transcript in the task timeline. Your own number stays private. You and your authorized assistant can review permitted transcripts. A message never counts as your approval. Calls go to voicemail; your assistant can read the transcript within its task permissions.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. Freeze the Twyn to revoke its assistant's access and block new payment authorizations. Its inbox and number stay held for you. This doesn't undo messages already sent or payments already authorized. Retiring a Twyn is a separate step, with a check for accounts or tasks that still depend on its address.
Which assistants can I use?
Twyn connects through MCP, the standard many AI apps use to access tools. Choose a compatible client for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, OpenClaw, Poke, Instinct, Muse, or another assistant. Use it on your phone, desktop, or the web wherever that client supports MCP. Connection options depend on the app and plan.
Can a Twyn pretend to be someone else?
No. A separate contact address protects your personal inbox. It doesn't invent a legal identity. When a service needs true identity details, sharing them requires your explicit permission.
What happens when I finish a task?
You can freeze assistant access and keep your history. Before retirement, Twyn checks for dependencies such as account recovery. It doesn't automatically release an address still needed by an account or erase copies held by recipients.
